• Product selection, one of the most important factors affecting the refractory life time in pyro-processing plant. There are many refractory type that can be considered for pyro-processing plant, the best way in product selection we must know the pyro-process condition and all factors that affecting to refractory and we must know the refractory properties that will use and meet with the process requirement.
• Anchorage, the key element is properly selecting the anchor type that has excellent hot strength and can withstand high thermal loading. Stainless steel anchor and refractory anchor widely used in refractory installation, combination both anchor sometimes use depend on process condition.
• Installation, the proper installation of refractory will get best refractory lining result properties. Installation procedure, man power and equipment should be meet the requirement.
• Dry Out, the dry out process usually the last step before a refractory lining is put in service. The dry out should not be compromised because, just as with the other installation parameters, problem will result if proper care is not taken to remove the water from refractory lining, specially castable lining.
